Abstract

|
It has already been reported that some domestic Seed dil contains various fatty acids, but no detailed report including the Evodia Danielii Hemsley, Ailanthus altissima Swingle and Capsicum annuum L. have been found yet.
The purpose of this investigation is to determine accurately acid composition of Evodia Daniellii Hemsley, Ailanthus altissima Swingle and Capsicum annuum L. by Gas-Liquid Chromatography.
Gas-Liquid chromatographic analysis were performed on a Gas Chromatography of Perkin-Elmer Model 154D type equipped with a thermal conductiove detector.
As a result, different fatty acids C_14-C^F3_18 and considerable amounts of unknown fatty acid were found of Evodia Daniellii Hemsley and Ailanthus altissima Swingle Seed oils.
In addition, the methylesters, obtained by direct methanolysis of the fatty acids with 1% P-toluensulfonic acid and absolute methylalcohol.
